Oil Painting Workshop: Paint Looser & More Confidently with Ariel Freeman!

Cost: 4 Sessions: $240 or individual $75 (Please note: Refunds are not offered after session starts, but instructor will credit for a future class). Small group (3-4 folks) private instruction.
Unlock a freer, more expressive approach to oil painting in this ongoing paint-along workshop. Explore alla prima (wet-on-wet) techniques through floral and still life subjects, with warm-up exercises and step-by-step guided paintings from life. Perfect for beginners or painters looking to loosen up and paint with greater confidence and intention.

- How to work quickly and purposefully to capture the essence of your subject in a single session
- How to build strong, lively compositions with movement and life
- How to observe closely and translate what you see into expressive brushwork
- How to identify major shapes and spatial relationships in your composition

- How to mix luminous colors alongside related neutrals for a vibrant, balanced palett
