Class Description
Create a whimsical miniature floral scene while learning the art of sculpting realistic flowers with air-dry clay. In this two-day workshop, students will learn how to sculpt beautiful ranunculus blooms, buds, leaves, and stems using simple hand-building techniques and specialized tools. We’ll finish the project by arranging the flowers inside a glass terrarium with preserved moss and a miniature figurine, creating a unique botanical keepsake.
This class is beginner-friendly, although students with some sculpting experience are also welcome. By the end of the workshop, each student will leave with a completed terrarium and the skills to continue creating air-dry clay flowers at home.
Everything needed to complete the project is included:
- Glass terrarium with wooden base
- Air-dry clay
- Sculpting tools and supplies for use during class
- Floral wire and stems
- Preserved moss
- Miniature figurine
- Adhesives and finishing materials
Students do not need to bring anything, although an apron is optional.
