Fire and Ice, A Regional Juried Show
This month, we are proud to present Fire and Ice: A Regional Juried Show, an exhibition whose theme feels especially resonant right now. Exploring contrasts such as heat and cold, intensity and restraint, and motion and stillness, Fire and Ice invites viewers to experience the emotional and visual power that emerges when opposites collide.
The exhibition features 44 works by talented regional artists, showcasing a rich diversity of styles, subjects, and interpretations. From bold abstracts to carefully rendered realism, and from expressive figurative pieces to expansive landscapes, the show offers something to captivate every viewer. Each artist brings their own voice to the theme, resulting in a collection that feels cohesive yet wonderfully varied.
“Fire” appears in many forms throughout the gallery, including vivid color palettes, dynamic mark making, charged emotional content, and works that radiate energy or tension. In contrast, “Ice” reveals itself through cooler hues, quiet compositions, controlled precision, and moments of reflection or stillness. Some artists lean fully into one side of the spectrum, while others explore the space in between, where fire and ice coexist, balance, or even challenge one another.
We invite you to join us this month to experience Fire and Ice firsthand. It is a powerful reminder of how art can reflect the tensions and beauty of the world around us, and how creativity thrives in the space between extremes.
“Fire and Ice, A Regional Juried Show, will be on Display Friday February 6, 2026 through Sunday, March 1, 2026. Please join us for the show opening reception on “First Friday”, February 6, 2026 from 5pm to 9pm.
