Heroes and Villains, a National Juried Exhibition

As children we learned that heroes are brave and true, and villains are evil and duplicitous. It was comforting to think of them as opposites, but as we grew the lines got blurry, and who was a hero and who was a villain sometimes wasn’t obvious.  In this months show, artists depict what heroes and villains mean to them. Some are fictional characters, some are based on events, some are based on family and everywhere in between, “Heroes and Villains” offers up eclectic and unusual interpretations from literal to abstract. “Heroes and Villains” will be on display September 1 through October 1, 2023. Join us on First Friday, September 1 from 5pm-9pm for the show opening reception.
