Oil Painting Workshop: Start your Plein Air Painting Journey with Ariel Freeman!

When: Indoors:  Mondays:  April 27th and May 11, 2026, 2pm to 4pm or 6pm to 8pm at LibertyTown  Outdoors:   May 17th OR 18th, 2026  and May 31st OR June 1st, 2026.  Location TBD.  4 sessions total.
Where: Studio 24, Liberty town Arts Workshop.

Cost: 4 Sessions:  $240  (Please note:  Refunds are not offered after session starts).  Small group (3-4 folks) private instruction.

Start your outdoor plein air painting journey. Join me for a hands-on hybrid workshop designed to take you from two days of focused indoor studies to two days of painting on location.

We’ll work from both reference photos and life, practicing sketching, value studies, landscape composition, and color. You’ll explore how to depict light, build color grids, and develop confidence with alla prima plein air painting.

Each session includes demonstrations, guided exercises, and constructive, personalized feedback.

*All levels welcome (Adult), but will need to have own supplies.  I will supply the outdoor easel if needed.
