This October, LibertyTown Arts Workshop is reviving Water Street Studio’s Literary Art Show as “Open to Interpretation”. In this iteration, we invited literary artists to present poems or one-page flash fiction stories to LibertyTown. These works of art were then interpreted by local artists in a variety of mediums. The visual art will be hung in the gallery during October 2017, together with the literary pieces that inspired them. Additionally, we have created a book of the art and poems, which will be sold in the gallery, with profits going to Mental Health America of Fredericksburg. The will be available for presale starting Friday and will be in store on October 13th.
