Wendy Atwell-Vasey’s  landscapes, still lifes, abstracts and figures in landscape all start with on site observation and reflection. Her commitment is to preserve the liveliness of her vision by showing  movement with fluid brush strokes, expressive color, and fresh perspective. Much of her subject matter originates in Virginia, where she lives and from travels to Greece, France, the Canadian Rockies, New England, Cayman Islands, and the Northwest Puget sound area. Wendy has a studio at Libertytown Arts Workshop in Fredericksburg, Virginia. She is a member of the Fredericksburg Plein Air Society and has shown her work throughout the Fredericksburg area.
