Misha Sanborn became interested in clay during her last semester at Mary Washington College. She began working for Dan Finnegan in 2003, where she trained as his apprentice.

In April 2005, Misha moved to LibertyTown Arts Workshop to take up the position of Artist in Residence. Misha is used her residency to develop her own style of functional, stoneware pots for everyday use. Misha is now is living in Maine and making beautiful pots that are collected and coveted.
