I have been a member of the Fredericksburg Spinners and Weavers Guild at LibertyTown since 2009, and I am passionate about fibers, color and weaving. I also love to dabble in felting, knitting, and dyeing yarns, especially silk. I enjoy searching for special buttons from around the world to embellish my projects, and I have created my own buttons on occasion using dichroic glass. My latest focus is researching the history, drafts and fibers used in Swedish weaving. Creating a rag rug on an 1800s Swedish loom was an exciting experience for me. Sharing ideas with fellow weavers and the creativity from the artists at LibertyTown is truly inspirational to me.
