I have always enjoyed needlework, knitting, sewing, and history.  Discovering the Fredericksburg Spinners and Weavers and learning to spin and weave is a great combination of both interests.

Most of my weaving is functional, that I hope also brings some beauty to everyday settings; towels or placemats for the kitchen or some wearable art scarves or shawls for yourself.

Awards:  Ribbons from Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival; Montpelier Fall Fiber Festival; Virginia State Fair for handspun yarn.  Third prize in LibertyTown’s Patron Show for handwoven wall hanging.
