While she has experience in a variety of creative fields and mediums, Dolly’s current preferences include oil, acrylic, and digital art. She finds inspiration in the natural world, the animal kingdom, the human form, and the relationships between them. Dolly is both a fine artist and an illustrator, and explores a variety of styles to suit her mood and subject, yet you will notice consistent themes, elements, and color palettes in her body of work.

Born and raised in South Africa, she moved to Florida to earn her Master’s in Art, and now lives and creates in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Dolly has participated in and won awards in national juried art competitions, sold and displayed her artwork all over the world, and written, illustrated, and published a children’s book.
