I am a local Fredericksburg artist who specializes in oil painting. My style is representational and impressionistic. My favorite subjects include cityscapes, figures, landscapes, portraits, and occasionally still lifes. Place has a frequent prominence in my painting. As such, many of my subjects include places that I have visited where particular scenes inspired me to try and capture them on canvas. I am privileged to show some of my work at Libertytown. Other places that my paintings have appeared include several juried art shows in the area, various restaurant venues, and the Fredericksburg Area Museum and Cultural Center. In addition, I frequently paint commissioned pieces, almost always of popular cityscape locales in and around Fredericksburg.
