Summer Camp Weeks 1, 2, and 3 | Period 4: Polymer Clay and Glass Art 2.0, Ages 10-15

Mon-Fri 7/9-7/13, 7/23-7/27, or 8/6-8/10 at 3:30-5:00pm

Weeks 1 and 2:

All week long students will work with polymer clay and glass to create wonderful objects to keep for all time. Award winning polymer clay artist Melissa Terlizzi will help students make various objects to be used everyday. Previous projects have included pens, journal covers, jewelry and book marks. Corning Glass Museum Instructor Gayla Lee will walk students through basic glass fusing and manipulation technics to make bowls, coasters and tiles. Higher cost of class due to higher supply cost.

Week 3:

All week long students will work with polymer clay and glass to create wonderful objects to keep for all time. Award winning polymer clay artist Melissa Terlizzi will help students make sculptural pieces. Previous projects have included fish, toads, and flowers. Glass artist Gayla Lee, who regularly teaches at the Corning Glass Museum in New York, will teach kids the basics of glass cutting, fusion, and firing. Previous projects have included bowls, coasters, sun catchers, jewelry, and more! Higher cost of class due to higher supply cost.
