Chinese brush painting has been a part of over two thousand years of Chinese culture. Following this tradition students will learn the basics of Chinese brush painting featuring a different theme each day. At the beginning of the course, there will be an introduction to the supplies we will use each day in class: Ink, bamboo brushes, rice paper, a watercolor set, mixing plates, felt and water containers. Every class will also focus on achieving assorted styles of brushstrokes. The overall goal of the class is to be creative and expressive through great artwork! Class is for ages 7-14. Classes will be held in our upstairs classroom Studio 15.
