Intermediate Pottery with D.D. Lecky

$195.00

5 Week Class, Saturdays, 8:30am-11:00am. Must be 16 or older.

D.D. Lecky’s Intermediate Pottery is focused on skill growth and expansion, with each five-week session having a specific project designed to inspire the growth process.  This 5 week session will explore lids, handles, mug forms,  and teapots, while also discussing how to modify shapes and build on our general skills. Repeats from previous sessions are always welcome as we can always add skills and challenges even if you’ve made pots with me before.

The class will consist of a demo period and hands-on instructions with an assignment of work outside of class that will often lead into the next week’s lessons.

Instructor/Class Requirements: Must be able to center and pull clay consistently without help and be able work outside of class on small “homework” assignments that relate to the next class lesson

Tools Needed: Standard Throwing Tools, calipers, ruler, scratcher tool

Completion of at least two rounds of beginner pottery and/or instructor permission required for class sign up to be confirmed. If you have not met this criteria, your class fee will be refunded to you and you will receive an email as to why.
